I am a Colombia-born, New York-raised, Oakland based artist. I hold Marketing and Illustration certificates from F.I.T. and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Trained in both fine and digital art, I can create and manipulate imagery in many different styles using a variety of mediums.
I have finessed my digital retouching skills working for giants like Williams-Sonoma, Sephora, Pottery Barn, Logitech, Gap Inc. and more. During my Graphic Design years, I held roles at The Public Information Office of The City of Fort Lauderdale, and JanSport.
I have a gift for visual expression and creative solutions and enjoy seeing projects from concept to completion. In 2001, I started a small firm (Energylife Design – EDS) designing, printing and delivering collateral for small businesses. Running my own company while working full-time taught me many things and allowed me to flex my creativity, learn on the fly, and prioritize effectively to get the job done.
I'm a life-long learner and in my spare time, I have a passion for gardening and was a certified Master Gardener from 1995-2021. I hold a certificate in Permaculture from Oregon State University and I have been a beekeeper in East Oakland since 2024.
My wife and I are stewards of a 20-acre campground we call Wildstone Creek that we purchased for our off-grid DIY 120 person glamping wedding. It now serves to host group campouts, help with wildfire relief, and support local ranchers raise sustainable beef. We plan on donating this property back to the Nisenen tribe who once inhabited the land.
I have always prided myself on my versatility and can-do attitude. Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance to your business or project.
